14 Days Survival Trekking and Yoga Retreat in Nepal April and October 2018


This is a comprehensive outdoor expedition course that enables the practitioner to build up life skill, stress management, mindfulness, teambuilding, leadership skill, among others. Day 1: Check-in at Yoga Home Nepal (Niru Yoga Homestay)

Day 2: Visit to Nagarkot (view Sunrise from the hill station, (2300m), doing Surya Namaskar, Pranayam, followed by breakfast in a hotel. Then forth  hiking from Nagarkot to Yoga home Nepal (Niru Yoga Homestay, 4hr walk)

Day 3: Trekking to Sankhu Valley. A brief riverside bus ride through  Melamchi, Tipeni, Dhap,and  Manekharkha where the hotel check in (8hr bus and 2hr walk)

* Sankhu valley to Jarsinpauwa

* Jarsinpauwa to Melamchi (heaving lunch)

* Melamchi to Thampaldhap

* Thampaldhap to Thampalkot (tea break)

* Tampalkot to Bhotang

* Bhotan to Chimti

Day 4: Trekking from   Manekharcka to Bhotang. Lunch and forest walk up to  Tupidanda (Jungle area).  Camping or makeshift cottage or tree house will be collaboratively constructed. It is a 5 hour walk from the point of departure and at 2600m height. The average temperature is 24 degree celcius. It is in the Langtang Region of Nepal popularly known as the Tamang Heritage Trail.

Day 5: Tupidada to Yangri (Jungle area) – stay in tent or make temporary cottage, makeshift home or tree house.  (5hr walk 2900m. Average temperature 20 degree celsius).

Day 6: Yangri to Nasim Pati, stay in tent, cottage or make temporary cottage, makeshift home or tree house (3,700m, 4hr walk, average temperature 18 degree celsius)

Day 7: Nasim Pati to Panch Pokhari, stay in tent, cottage or make temporary cottage,  makeshift home or tree house (4100m, 3hr walk, average temperature 8 degree celsius).


Day 8: Visit to Panch Pokhari (the Five Pound), hiking from Panch Pokhari to 4500m elevation. Practicing Yoga and sight seen together with nature hunting around the Himalayan landscape comprise of beautiful mountains more than 7200m. Stay in tea hotel.


Day 9: Morning walk on the Himalayan landscape from 5am. The walk destine to reach at 4500m to view sunrise comprised of doing Yoga and meditation. The team will reach to Panch Pokhari (4100m) (1hr walk) and back to Nasim Pati. we stay in Nasim Pati.


Day 10: Nasim Pati to Tupidanda (Jungle area) -stay in tent or make temporary cottage. makeshift home or tree house. (6hr walk 2600m).


Day 11: Check in Bhotang Hotel 5hr walk from Tupidanda,  (Bhotang is Tamang village Sindupalchok District) 

Day 12: Back to Yoga Home Nepal by Private Jeep 8hr

Day 13: Full day Rest (Local Cultural Program)

During this period, there are two extensive Yoga classes per day. These classes comprised of Pranayama and elevative meditation. Additionally, Hatha Yoga and Tandav dance will be instructed for the interested participant.
