Agni Hotra (fire puja) is performed daily at 7:40am in the Vedic tradition. This ancient ritual performed in sanskrit and has a strong life supportive influence for all living beings in the evironment. The home stay has handbooks with Vedic mantras in Romanized Sanskrit as well as English translations. Guests are welcome to experience and learn this ancient Nepalese ritual.
Kirtan is the chanting of names or archetypes. It is a melodious, uplifting practice that encourages the surrender of the ego, and letting go of constructs which hold us back from free-flowing energy and opening the heart. No previous experience is needed and there is no need to be a good singer to attend kirtan.
Kirtan is usually twice a week. Tuesday and Friday evenings at 7:15pm – 8pm.
